Dag Lee and Bob Moncrieff met during the boom times of the 90’s in Silicon Valley. Dag, the Norwegian, developing a career in finance, investment and service management went on to run several major service companies in healthcare and fitness industries and an Advisor and Partners in Venture Capital and Private Equity. Bob, the Scottish engineer and ad-hoc programmer became an operations management consultant and ultimately senior Partner at PRTM and PwC. Dag was maniacally focused on building shareholder value and ever suspicious of big Management Consultants. Bob knew how to leverage hands-on consulting to drive lasting change, and had developed a deep understanding of the inherent strengths, challenges and conflicts of big consulting firm models.
Always wanting to start a business together, they saw an opportunity to combine their expertise. Build a multi-discipline consulting network with the scale to tackle large scale complex business challenges, but flexible enough to focus on adding real value instead of just keeping people busy, and the ability to focus on value generation and client results over the day-to-day needs of the consulting firms themselves.
The result is DBI Network founded in 2014. An international network of consulting firms and independent advisors with the reach, depth and flexibility to address day-to-day operational needs or engage in strategic transformations. With a focus on operational strategy. innovation and operations across selected industries, DBI Network creates business value by getting stuff done, and having fun in the process.
